Council Tower Apartments is a 27-story high-rise conveniently located near Interstate 64/40 at Grand and the city bus line. The building provides wonderful north and south views of the city for residents to enjoy. The newly renovated property offers affordable and subsidized studios and one bedroom apartments. There are various floor plans offered to residents, some include large walk-in closets while others may not. Additionally there is storage space located on every floor on a limited basis. All apartments are equipped with a full kitchen and utilities are included in the rent. Council Towers offers on-site coin operated laundry machines, a community room with cable television and computers, and vending machines located on the ground floor. Outside seating areas with a pavilion and grilling areas are free for residents to enjoy. The building is under 24 hour camera surveillance and provides a controlled access front entry system to the building, insuring the resident’s safety. There is a base age requirement of 62 or disabled individuals in need of a mobility accessible apartment. Monthly rent is based on the renter’s income.
