Post Sports Bar & Grill to open new location

The Post Sports Bar & Grill, a restaurant business that has two St. Louis-area locations today, plans on adding a third in 2018.

The restaurant has leased 5,000 square feet of space in Dierbergs Fenton Crossing, located at 568 Old Smizer Mill Road.

The shopping center, located near the Gravois Road and Highway 141 intersection, is owned by the Sansone Group, which developed the property for $22 million in the 1990s. The property has an appraised value of $14.3 million, according to St. Louis County records.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Retail leasing rates in the area, according to research from Newmark Grubb Zimmer, typically come in at around $17 to $18 per square foot.

Sansone Group was represented by Tim McFarland in the transaction.

The Post currently has locations in Maplewood and Creve Coeur.

Post founder Adrian Glass did not return requests for comment.
