Sansone Group leads successful disposition of Retail Center in Terre Haute, IN

St. Louis, Missouri — April 6, 2022 Sansone Group led the successful disposition of Towne South Plaza, a 163,000 SF retail center in Terre Haute, IN, to Wild Moose Ventures and has retained management and leasing under the property’s new ownership.

Sansone Group managed and leased the property since 2002, and in 2015, Sansone Group bought the Center while retaining in-house services. Even through the 2008-2009 recession, Sansone Group’s Grant Mechlin led the leasing effort resulting in an unprecedented 100% occupancy at the Center.

In recent years, Towne South, with Sansone Group’s management and leasing expertise, established itself among the strongest retail centers in the trade area while other neighboring centers’ vacancies steadily rose. Sansone Group’s property management team facilitated major roof renovation with third-party restoration and insurance, increasing the asset value and making Towne South the most desirable relocation option for a number of repositioning national retailers in the area. Sansone Group connected with Wild Moose Ventures through Mechlin and Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Ben Wineman. The team led a record contract-to-close disposition within less than 90 days.
